Our Greek Vanilla Fir Honey is a rare and naturally produced honey harvested in the Peloponnese region, specifically from the fir forests of Mount Arcadia. This exceptional honey is not made from flower nectar but from the honeydew found on the bark and needles of Black Fir trees. It’s known for its rich composition, mild taste, and unique texture. A honeydew variety, it is naturally higher in minerals and amino acids compared to floral honeys and remains runny for longer periods.
Choose from a variety of sizes to suit your needs: 280g, 450g, and 1kg glass jars (fully recyclable), or 3kg BPA-free shatterproof plastic containers.
Vanilla Fir Honey has a velvety and smooth texture with a deep, rich flavour reminiscent of vanilla and light caramel. It’s low in sugars compared to typical flower honeys and leaves a gentle, woody aftertaste. The name comes from its colour—not its ingredients, as it contains no vanilla extract.
This honey is a flavourful and healthier substitute for processed sugar. It pairs beautifully with tea, toast, yogurt, cereal, pancakes, and desserts. Its mild sweetness also makes it a favourite among children and those with a light sweet preference.
